Sydney is full of surprising hidden wonders and Parsley Bay is one of the rare gems within Sydney Harbour. The reserve’s prominent feature is the century old cable suspension footbridge set amongst 14 acres of natural harbour reserve. It is one of Sydney’s most charming and least used facilities although well known by the locals.
Queen Victoria building in Sydney is one of the most beautiful shopping centres in Australia. It was threatened with demolition in the 1970s and 1980s but was successfully restored after an effective social campaign to save Sydney’s historic past. It marks a significant turning in Australia’s understanding of its historic architecture and is emblematic of reuse and refurbishment.
From a new series of Sydney Harbour and beaches as viewed from above which will be exhibited at Australian Galleries in May 2016.
